The eternal question to the meaning of fast food
This question has troubled mankind ever since hotdogs were marketed. The answer is quite simple... The company who makes the hot dogs is entirly different then the one who makes the buns... Each company have their own considerations as to how many units to place in each packages, and they could care less if you are left with too many buns/dogs. On the other side, in some cases where the same company make the dogs as well as the buns we have a conspiracy. A conspiracy to make us buy MORE, that is to buy 3 packs of dogs which would make 3x8 = 24 dogs and 4 packs of buns which would make 6x4 = 24. Thats the combination that would yield exactly one bun per dog, but forced us to buy a lot of dogs! Alright, I'm off to eat something, possibly a hotdog, Peace.
